The first day of spring is here - now break out your umbrella.

A mild cold front moving through Polk County will bring a 30 percent chance of rain with it today, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to top out around 75 degrees, with skies clearing later in the afternoon, meteorologists said. A low of 53 is predicted tonight and into Friday morning.

The feel of spring is expected to return with warm and sunny skies Friday, with temperature highs around 78 degrees and a low of 60 degrees that night, the NWS forecast.
